Who is coach kim ?

 

Hello, EVERYONE!

I am BackCheaSun, Kim who has a passion and experience in archery. I first picked up a bow in the 4th grade of elementary school and have been actively involved in archery ever since. Over the years, I have achieved numerous awards in national archery competitions, and during my second year of university, I dedicated a year to serving as a reserve player for the national team.

- Career Summary

  • Archery Athlete Experience: Since starting archery, I have consistently participated in various national archery competitions and achieved commendable results.

  • National Team Reserve Player: During sophomore of university , I served as a reserve player for the national team, where I gained invaluable experience and honed my skills.

  • Archery Coaching Career: Following my graduation, I embarked on a career as an archery coach, guiding students towards achieving their goals and improving their performance.

- New Challenges

Since 2011, after moving to the United States with my family, I have been actively involved in the archery scene here. I started my journey as the Head Coach at Joy Lee Club in California, where I have had the privilege to learn new archery techniques directly from Coach Lee himself. I have utilized these techniques to significantly contribute to the improvement of my students' performances. Additionally, I have assisted many talented students in pursuing admission to Ivy League schools and other prestigious institutions.

- Expertise

In 2019, I became the only Korean coach to attain Level 4 NTS Coach certification, further solidifying my expertise in the field. With previous coaching experience in Korea, I have had the opportunity to work with diverse groups of students and continue my own growth and development.

- New Venture, BK Archery Club

In 2020, I made the decision to relocate to Virginia, where I established BK Archery Club with the aim of creating new opportunities and fostering a love for archery among enthusiasts.

 

With a passion for archery and a wealth of experience, I am always eager to take on new challenges and continue my journey of growth. My goal is to inspire others through my dedication to the sport and my commitment to helping individuals reach their full potential.
